Keynote Speakers:
Ayse Imrohoroglu, Professor of Finance and Business Economics at theUniversity of Southern California, editor of the European Economic Review. Ayse has studied annuitization, social security, income fluctuations, capital flows and accumulation, taxation, and tax reform, among many other topics. She has published her research in peer-reviewed outlets such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Public Economics, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Monetary Economics, Review of Economic Dynamics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control,and Economic Theory, among many other outlets.
Giovanni L. (Gianluca) Violante, Professor of Economics at New York University, managing editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics, NBER and CEPR research associate. Gianluca has studied economic inequality, labor market risk, insurance, taxation, and social security reform, among many other topics. He has published his research in peer-reviewed outlets such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, Economic Journal, Journal of the European Economic Association, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Review of Economic Dynamics,and the Journal of Applied Econometrics, among several others.
