Experience the charm of Ireland while completing MGT 3700: Operations Management in a small, interactive class setting. This 3-credit course explores how organizations design and manage systems to deliver products and services efficiently, with a focus on Lean principles, process improvement, and operational strategies that drive competitive advantage and financial success.
Split between Dublin and Cork, the program includes visits to local businesses where you’ll see operations in action—gaining firsthand insight into innovative products, manufacturing processes, and global best practices.
During the program, you'll enjoy a scenic excursion to the Dingle Peninsula, known for its dramatic cliffs, rolling green hills, and sweeping views of the Atlantic. Evenings and weekends are yours to explore the enchanting beauty of Ireland. Wander medieval castles, stroll along cobblestone streets, or discover the country's lush countryside dotted with ancient ruins, rolling hills, and picturesque lakes. Whether you’re enjoying live music at a local pub, hiking along the Cliffs of Moher, or catching a train to explore Galway or Belfast, Ireland offers a magical blend of history, nature, and culture.
