Student Leadership Board

Below are the Huntsman Scholar student leadership members for the 2025-2026 year. The Student Leadership Board can be contacted at huntsman.scholars@usu.edu.

Rylee Semadeni - President

Rylee Semadeni

President

Rylee is ecstatic to be a second-time member of the Huntsman Scholar Student Leadership
Team during her senior year. Majoring in accounting, minoring in data analytics, and interested
in learning about every other subject imaginable, she is passionate about meeting everyone
around her and seeing what they can teach her. Rylee loves to travel and was grateful to work as
a tax intern at Deloitte in London, UK during the Summer of 2025. She has participated in
various case competitions on and off campus and has worked as a wrangler/trail horseback ride
guide at Logan Canyon Horseback Riding. While she seeks success in all she does, Rylee hopes of
one day making enough money to have a hobby farm and bake her days away. Come say hi!

Abigail Ford - Community Vice President

Abigail Ford

Community Vice President

Abigail is a senior studying Information Systems with an emphasis is Data Engineering and
minors in Data Analytics and Marketing Design. She has been an enthusiastic member of the
Analytic Solutions Center, on the executive board of USU Miracle Club, and has found a deep
love helping students as a recitation leader for DATA 2100. Abigail is originally from Kingsport,
Tennessee and loves anything to do with music, sunshine, personal health, or a good book. She
is passionate about quality learning and genuine interactions and is willing to help any
individual in need of assistance, although you may encounter a cheesy data joke along the way!

Jackson Capener - Service Vice President

Jackson Capener

Service Vice President

Jackson is a junior double majoring in Management (with an emphasis in Hotel Management)
and Finance. He’s worked at Lagoon for seven years and has a strong interest in the amusement
park and tourism industry, so if you ever want to go or have questions, he probably knows
someone who can help. He’s also a big Jurassic Park and Star Wars fan, and will definitely bring
them up more than once. As this year’s VP of Service, he’s excited to create opportunities for
the Scholar group to give back. He also loves to travel and has been to 14 countries so far, with
plenty more on the list. You can usually find Jackson in the Scholar office, so feel free to stop by
if you ever want to talk, hang out, or need anything!

Christian Andrewsen - Outreach Vice President

Christian Andrewsen

Outreach Vice President

Christian is a junior studying Accounting and Finance with a minor in Real Estate. He has been a
Huntsman Scholar throughout his college experience and has served in leadership on the
Huntsman Business Council. He’s been involved in DECA, stock pitch and Covey leadership
competitions, SEED in Peru, and worked with a venture capital firm—experiences that reflect his
passion for business and entrepreneurship. Outside the classroom, Christian enjoys tennis,
weightlifting, and reading. He draws inspiration from the Rocky movies and the Huntsman
School’s motto to Dare Mighty Things, both of which have motivated him to keep pushing and
become the best version of himself. Christian is excited for the opportunity to serve and hopes
to help others take full advantage of the program and dare mighty things in their own lives.

Raegan Rogers - Professionalism Vice President

Raegan Rogers

Professionalism Vice President

Raegan Rogers is a senior studying Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. She
lives by the motto "why not" and is determined to try anything and everything. As an
entrepreneur for over five years, Raegan is passionate about inspiring other students to realize
that they, too, can turn their ideas into reality.

On campus, Raegan stays busy with her involvement in the USU Disc Golf Club, Business
Ambassadors, Freshman Academy, SEED, and as a Huntsman Scholar Peer Mentor. Outside of
class, you can usually find her outdoors fishing, disc golfing, or playing pickleball. When she’s
not busy on campus, she’s exploring the world—she's traveled to eight countries so far and has
many more on her list. If you have ideas for what she should try next or places she should
explore, she’d love to hear them—or even better, tag along; the more, the merrier!

The role of a Scholar Peer Mentor is to provide peer-to-peer mentoring, foster a sense of community, and serve as a resource.
