First-Time College Student

Application Requirements

For you to be accepted into our program, you must have at least one Huntsman School of Business declared major on USU’s Logan campus before the start of the first term in which you would be applying to begin as a Huntsman Scholar.

Application Details

You will be asked to provide the following information:

• USU/College GPA
• USU/ College Transcript
• ACT/SAT Scores if available
• Details of your involvement in extracurricular activities, service, and work/internship experiences.
• Recommendations: You will be asked to provide first name, last name, and email address (a personal email address, NOT a K-12 school district email) for two recommenders.
  • Recommender 1: should be an academic recommendation
  • Recommender 2: should be a service/leadership recommendation
• HireVue Video Interview: For your required video interview submission we are using a service called HireVue. You will need to be prepared to answer three questions using your computer or device so be sure you have both video and audio capabilities before starting. The system does a great job at giving you some practice questions and tutorials before you begin. Remember that you must submit both a HireVue Video Interview and an application.
