Mountain West Economic History Conference

Seventh Annual Mountain West Economics Conference - February 20-21, 2026 in Logan, UT

A foundation in economic history is a distinguishing feature of graduates of the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. In harmony with this mission, the Mountain West Economic History Conference is a venue for promoting and improving research in economic history. Instead of targeting a particular theme or historical period, the program committee seeks papers from faculty and graduate students on a wide variety of topics, time periods, and countries. Each presenter will be given 45 minutes followed by a 15-minute break, an atmosphere where presenters are able to receive in-depth peer feedback while also permitting all participants to have extensive interactions with attendees.
