Student Financial Support

For qualified students, financial aid assistance is offered through USU Student Financial Support.

For qualified on-campus full-time* students, financial aid assistance is offered through the U.S. Government and the USU Financial Aid Office. To qualify for federal student loans and financial aid packages, students must submit a FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students are encouraged to apply for government aid after they are admitted to the MMIS program.

Scholarship Opportunites

Each year the Huntsman School awards several scholarships to full-time on-campus MMIS students. These are highly competitive scholarships and require a completed application in order to be eligible. This means all letters of recommendation, transcripts, and GRE or GMAT scores must be received by the MMIS office by March 1 in order to be considered for scholarships .

Assistantships

A limited number of graduate assistantships are available in the Huntsman School of Business. Most assistantships are 10 hours per week. TA positions are typically given out in the second semester. Students who apply by March 1 will have priority consideration for these awards. Upon arrival at USU, you may work with the Program Director to acquire an asistantship position within the MMIS department. Tuition Waivers

1. Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP)

In-state Tuition Opportunity For Out-of-state Students

Qualifying MMIS students who are residents of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming can attend the program at Utah State University for resident tuition rates.

2. Alumni Legacy Nonresident Waiver

Children or grandchildren of USU Alumni attending Utah State can have the nonresident portion of tuition waived. Follow your parents' footsteps and become an Aggie. To qualify for the Alumni Legacy Nonresident Waiver, a future Aggie must:

  • Be admitted.
  • Have at least one parent who earned an associate degree or higher from Utah State University.
  • Enroll at USU as a first-time student.
