Meet the Team
We are a collective group of students with a wide variety of skills and experience, with a mission to work together to identify innovative solutions that will ensure the viability of Cache Valley businesses. We provide our services free of charge to local businesses that need creative solutions to challenging problems brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic.
I’m a Marketing student at USU that loves helping small businesses and startups become profitable and scale. I’ve started my own businesses, consulted small businesses in Perú, and currently intern for an established small business and a startup. I am particularly good at/am passionate about digital marketing and branding. Email marketing, digital ads, web design, and strategic brand planning are all things I have experience in and enjoy doing. I’ve also dabbled in sales and enjoy employing more effective sales processes to increase revenue, and have done a little photography and videography with cameras and drones.
I'm Ashley Blair. I was born and raised in Smithfield, Utah and went to Sky View High School. As a Logan born and bred, I am a Beaver Mountain Skier, Aggie Ice Cream Fan, and a Utah State Student studying marketing. I love to hike Logan Canyon, oil paint, and karaoke. I currently work at ROOLEE as a graphic designer and have a love for the fashion industry. While in school I have been fortunate enough to study abroad in Europe studying economic policies and international businesses. This experience deepened my interest in business systems and helped me decide my educational path. Moving forward, I hope to be able to combine my passions for the arts, people, and business systems into a career. I am passionate about making where I live a better place. I am excited to work with Hope Corps and gain experience helping local individuals and businesses.
Hi! I'm Parker Jensen! I am a passionate Entrepreneur studying Marketing at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. I have experience in small business consulting/creation as well as strategic marketing and marketing plan creation. I love entrepreneurship and helping others!
Collin Butterfield grew up in West Jordan, Utah and has recently received his Master’s in Financial Economics from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State. Collin is detail oriented, he thrives on productivity, is driven to achieve his goals, and is always looking for a new challenge. He is a problem solver as well as a perpetual learner. He prides himself when it comes to creating relationships in both a one-on-one setting and in a team. Collin has experience in economic development, credit risk, and trading. While with Hope Corps, Collin would like to help create sustainable projects that will connect businesses together and unite them around a sense of community. He would also like to help
Hi my name is Marina Brawand! I am dual majoring in Business Management and Human Movement Science with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. I am currently a sophomore here at USU, and I'm from South Jordan, Utah. Some of my hobbies include running, hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. Being a part of the Hope Corp, I hope to assist not only small businesses in Cache Valley, but the people of Cache Valley as well. I am passionate about making a better society and helping others in my community. I’m excited to utilize the business principles I have been learning this past year, including economics, accounting, entrepreneurship, and marketing, in order to help small businesses all across Cache Valley affected by COVID-19.
David Higashi was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. He is a senior at Utah State University and majoring in Business Administration and Finance while pursuing a minor in Marketing. Last year. David was the USU Student Association Blue Crew President. Blue Crew handles the PR and Marketing of Student Events at Utah State. He is enjoys spending time outdoors and helping people.
My name is Daniel Warren and I am currently a student at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business studying Marketing and Business Administration. I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship which has led me to start the business My Mobile Mechanic. In my time at the Hope Corps I hope to network with other entrepreneurs and use my talents to help local businesses.
My name is Kassidy Kunz! I am currently majoring in Business Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship. This is my second year at Utah State University! (Go Aggies!) I love learning about and meeting new people. I spend most of my time outdoors, designing new things, listening to podcasts, or reading books about self-development and success.
I am an international student from Peru majoring in Marketing. Others consider me a person who is organized and responsible. Spanish is my first language and I speak English as well however I like learning new languages. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and learning new things from them. In the past I have worked in managing social media advertisements (Instagram and Facebook) for a company. I am also experienced conversing professionally in Spanish and English. I am excited to be part of Hope Corps and help companies to reach their goals while I’m reaching mine.
Berkley Pond is a third-year student at Utah State University's Huntsman School of Business, where she is pursuing a degree in Accounting and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is the recipient of the Huntsman Scholar scholarship, which is awarded on academic, leadership, and service engagement. This scholarship allows her to engage in networking with premier faculty, advisors, and peers. Berkley’s recent employment history includes Business Ambassadors, Intermountain Growth Summit Lead Event Coordinator, Connections Peer Mentor, Student Alumni Association Executive Assistant and Social Media Specialist. She recently completed an internship as a Small Enterprise Education & Development (SEED) Intern in Manila, Philippines. Her time was spent focusing on and providing aid with business management, marketing, accounting, and strategic sales in an overall effort to alleviate poverty throughout the Philippines as a small business consultant to various microfinance clients of Mentors International. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Berkley intends to pursue a master's program to further her knowledge of accounting and finance as she progresses toward a career in the field. Her interests outside of school include golfing, skiing, growing her shoe collection, and watching the sunsets as she travels the world.

My passion is designing and creating amazing hard good products that bring simplicity and enjoyment to people’s lives. I have experience in 3D CAD, Adobe products, customer service, entrepreneurship, humanitarian aid services overseas, sales, and marketing.
Amberlee is from South Jordan, UT and is a senior studying economics at Utah State. She is passionate about socially conscious companies, the environment, non-profit organizations, and helping others. Her areas of expertise include business consulting, social media marketing, and copywriting. Relevant experience includes an internship in Ghana through SEED and Mentors International, starting and running two of her own side businesses, and helping manage a start-up in Logan for a year. She is a certified yoga instructor, teaching the stand-up paddleboard yoga class at USU and in her free time she enjoys roller-skating.
Zach is from Pocatello Idaho, and is a Junior at USU studying Outdoor Product Design, with minors in Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. He loves to travel, meet new people, and try new things. In his free time, you’ll find him on the road to a new remote place to rock climb, mountain bike, or backpack. He is talented in digital media including videography, photography, and graphic design. He hopes to use his talents to promote good in the world, and help organizations like The Hope Corps tell their story.
