Master of Accounting (MAcc) Program

The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program at Utah State University provides students with the opportunity to prepare themselves to be successful in the various career paths available in the accounting profession. With a nationally-ranked pass rate on the CPA exam, the program also helps interested students to successfully prepare for this professional certification exam.

Students in the MAcc program complete 30 credit hours of graduate coursework. Of those credit hours, 15 are common to all students, and 15 are determined based upon the specialization selected. Students can select one of the following three specializations: Professional Accountancy, Taxation, or Personal Financial Planning. Within each specialization, students have 6 hours of elective credits, allowing for the opportunity to tailor the degree to help each student prepare for his or her unique career goals.
