The Huntsman Difference is the exceptional experiences inside the classroom combined with the valuable opportunities outside the classroom. Students are encouraged to own their education with the numerous resources available throughout the school, including 23 amazing clubs and organizations.

A course description is a brief summary of the significant learning experiences for a course. Course descriptions appear in individual course outlines and in the Program of Studies (POSs) for individual programs.

Students may repeat and retake up to ten courses in their academic career if needed however, there is a difference between the USU repeat policy and the Huntsman School of Business repeat policy.

DegreeWorks is USU’s degree-audit tool. A degree audit worksheet is a review of past and current coursework organized into completed and incomplete requirements.

Differential tuition are additional tuition and fees separate from the tuition charged by the university. Currently, six of the seven colleges at Utah State University charge differential tuition.

Although work experience will strengthen your admissions chances, work experience is not a requirement for most of the Huntsman School's graduate programs.

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business offers seven business graduate programs – Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources (MHR), Management Information Systems (MMIS), Accounting (MAcc), Financial Economics (MFE), in Economics (MSE), and Data Analytics (MDATA).

The School of Graduate Studies' Website has information on financial aid available to graduate students. The Huntsman School also offers a few opportunities for financial aid.

After all official paperwork has been submitted and processed by the USU School of Graduate Studies, the application will be delivered to the respective department committee for the official application decision. You will receive an email with the decision within 10 working days.

Acronyms are an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word itself, such as, NASA or USU. Here you will find a list of commonly used acronyms in the Huntsman School of Business.

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business Computer Labs are located in the basement (1st floor) of the Eccles Business Building (EBB). The labs are open access except for when classes are being held in the rooms. Schedules for each room are posted at each entrance.

The Eccles Business Building & Huntsman Hall has digital signage on various floors. Learn how to design and submit TV slides to be added to these displays.

After the waitlist is removed, students that want to add a class that is full can now complete the “Registration Options form.” This shows the add/drop courses. They must receive the instructor’s signature then bring the form to the advisor for authorization.

The Huntsman School offers several scholarships that are based on a student’s academic performance (GPA) and financial need. Learn more about scholarship opportunities available through the Huntsman School and USU.

Utah State's classrooms extend far beyond the borders of its residential campus in Logan. There are 33 campuses and centers across the state where you can take classes via interactive video conferencing, face-to-face with local instructors, or online.

Generally, less upper-division classes are offered during the summer, but most of the business core classes are offered.

Students who attempt to register for a class that is full may put themselves on a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. When an open seat becomes available, an e-mail will be sent to the “preferred” e-mail address of the student at the top of the waiting list.

The graduation diploma is processed through the Registrar's Office and is typically mailed 6-8 weeks after the last day of class. It will be mailed to the address you submitted on your application.

Important dates, such as when the last day to add or drop a class, can be found in the registration calendar.

The Huntsman School of Business offers three concurrent-degree options. Earning a concurrent degree can reduce the time it takes to complete both programs, saving time and money while exponentially increasing career potential.
