Homesourced

On March 16, 2023, SEED formed a new partnership with HomeSourced Inc., a fast-growing outsourcing company based in Mandaue City on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Interns work with the employees of HomeSourced as well as their families and others in the Cebu community. CEO, Austin Anderson, a Logan, UT native and graduate of USU, partnered with SEED to further provide HomeSourced employees an above and beyond employment experience. In addition to stable employment, an onsite hospital, and exceptional working environments, the SEED program elevates HomeSourced’s impact by empowering employees through financial literacy, small business principles, and leadership skills.

Each semester, HomeSourced provides an apartment for 4 interns (12 per year) near their office in Cebu, and a dedicated space on the 5th floor of their building to hold events, classes, and activities. Interns who have participated in Cebu teaching, mentoring, and coaching have felt an overwhelming sense of love, support, and excitement from the HomeSourced team.

The SEED program in Cebu also focuses on community immersion, aiming to promote cultural relativism and social awareness. Each semester, interns have held a night market on the roofdeck of the HomeSourced office which has given dozens of businesses the chance to showcase, test, network, market, and sell their products and/or services to each other and the community. This type of collaboration and support for the SEED program from HomeSourced makes a lasting impact in the lives of those involved.

We are incredibly grateful for the financial contributions, collaboration, and partnership from HomeSourced and value our partnership.
