Biography
Dr. Rachel Martin is an Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. She worked for Walmart Stores, Inc for several years after completing her Masters in Accounting. Her responsibilities included strategy development, market analysis, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting product development and sustainability efforts. She then left to pursue her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include compensation and performance evaluation incentives, psychological and sociological influences on control design and performance, and judgment and decision-making.
