Rachel Martin worked for Walmart Stores, Inc for several years after completing her Masters in Accounting. Her responsibilities included strategy development, market analysis, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting product development and sustainability efforts. She left to pursue her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include compensation and performance evaluation incentives, psychological and sociological influences on control design and performance, and judgment and decision-making.
