Biography
Daphne N Blanchard is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship for the Huntsman School of Business in the Marketing and Strategy Department, which includes the role of overseeing the Bingham Center for Entrepreneurship. She brings to USU over 25 years of leadership experience as a business owner and non-profit director. As co-founder of Zelano International, she's led companies and initiatives in both the United States and Latin America—including ZConnect, a global outsourcing company; NEEYO Green Clean, a Latin American service business; and an international product sourcing division.
She is co-owner of an Amazon-based farm that provides sustainable jobs in remote areas, and through Kovê International, she's worked alongside local leaders to carry out community-driven projects like construction efforts, medical trainings, dental clinics, immigrant support, and scholarship programs in underserved areas of Ecuador.
She received her master's degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Economic Development in Latin America at the University of San Diego and a BA in Languages from Southern Utah University. She's committed to equipping her students with practical frameworks and real-world insights to help students launch successful ventures and drive impact within any organization.
