The ASC provides students across USU’s Logan and Statewide campuses with the opportunity to work with corporate partners on large data analytics projects. Participating in the Analytics Solutions Center as a student opens many doors to incredible career opportunities. Recent ASC graduates have found highly competitive full-time jobs in data science, analytics, and engineering at companies including Wells Fargo, Koch, and Tecuity.
Get Involved
As a Junior in Data Analytics, I was hired at the ASC to work for Invista on a Market Price Analysis project and with the UWLP visualizing data on the impact of COVID-19 on women. My experiences with these organizations helped me develop professional skills such as communication, organizing meetings, and goal setting. I also learned a wide variety of technical skills. The mentors at the ASC were invested in the success of the students. I feel that I can give more to my community through my developing talents and skills. I think what qualifies students to work at the ASC is a willingness to learn, work as a team, and apply their knowledge.
