Ben Hong

Ben Hong grew up the son of divorced parents in a small town in Idaho. The cost of his future education, which he knew he would be responsible to bare, weighed on him from a very young age. This pressure inspired him to work hard and make the sacrifices necessary to graduate from high school as salutatorian and earn scholarships to help support him through his higher education.

The financial sacrifices continued in his college years as Ben continued to drive a 25-year old car with 240,000 miles on it and skipped social activities and going out to eat in order to have the funds to cover his rent and other expenses associated with attending the university.

Students like Ben Hong benefit substantially from the scholarships provided by generous donors. Please consider investing in the futures of students like Ben by contributing to the School of Accountancy scholarship fund so we can positively impact the lives of even more exceptional students.
