Minor in Economics

Economics Minor IconThe Economics Minor is the social science that analyzes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services and aims to explain how economies work. The Economics Minor provides students with a strong understanding how economic forces affect decision-making and outcomes.

Minor Requirements (15 Credits)

An overall GPA of 2.67, 40 completed credits and acceptance into a degree program is required for enrollment in any business minor and business course 3000 level or higher. A student from outside the Huntsman School who desires to pursue any business minor must recognize that there may be prerequisites to the required courses and that a GPA of 2.5 must be obtained for minor courses.

Students must have a minimum of a C grade in each course required for the Economics Minor.
