We understand how frustrating it is not to be able to get into a course however; if the course you are attempting to register for is full you may place yourself on a waitlist. The course waitlist is on a first-come, first-served basis.
When an open seat becomes available and your name comes up on the list an e-mail will be sent to your “preferred” e-mail address. You will then have 24 hours from the time the email was sent to you to go online and add the class. Please be aware that beginning the first week of classes, the waitlist registration time limit is reduced from 24 hours to 12 hours.
Once you are added to the waitlist you will need to wait until the waitlist notifications discontinue at 12:00 PM on the Friday after the semester begins, before any other steps can be taken in attempting to get into the course.
We also understand that waiting can sometimes cause a great deal of anxiety however; neither the professor teaching the course or your academic advisor will be able to further assist you in trying to register for the course until the waitlist has been discontinued.
