However, when it comes to family enterprises, the challenges of diversity extend beyond the business itself to the family and ownership. Among the often-overlooked sources of diversity is neurodiversity. Historically, neurodiverse individuals have been stigmatized as "different" or "less functional." This session aims to shift the perspective by highlighting the incredible gifts and talents that neurodiverse individuals bring to family enterprises, while acknoledging the difficulties that at times comes with that.
