2022-2023 Student and Employee Awards

Each year, the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business recognizes top-performing students, staff, and faculty for their academic and professional accomplishments. For the 2022-2023 academic year, we would like to acknowledge and commend the following individuals as recipients of these awards and achievements.

Student Awards

• Dane Mariott, Master of Data Analytics - Legacy of Utah State
• Katherine Van Shaar Manning, Master of Science in Economics - Graduate Student Researcher of the Year
• Jacob Huff, Marketing - Undergraduate Student Researcher of the Year
• Macy Grange, Marketing – Undergraduate Teaching Fellow of the Year

Several professors were awarded promotion and/or tenure for exemplifying a commitment to student success and excellence in their respective research.

• Dr. Kat Bilicka, Assistant Professor in the Economics & Finance Department, received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor.
• Dr. Brian Dunn, Assistant Professor in the Data Analytics + Information Systems Department, received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor.
• Dr. Devon Erickson, Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy, received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor.
• Dr. Todd Griffith, Assistant Professor in the Economics & Finance Department, received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor.
• Dr. Chalon Keller, Professional Practice Assistant Professor, was promoted to Professional Practice Associate Professor.
• Dr. Konrad Lee, Associate Professor in Management Department, was promoted to Full Professor.
• Dr. Gary Thurgood, Assistant Professor in the Management Department, received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor.
• Lianne Wappett, Lecturer in the Data Analytics + Information Systems Department, was promoted to Senior Lecturer.

A-Pin Recipients

The A-Pin award has been a Utah State University tradition since 1910. This prestigious award recognizes students who have earned a 4.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters carrying 15 or more credit hours. During the 2022 calendar year (spring 2022, summer 2022, and fall 2022 semesters), 79 Huntsman students earned an A-Pin award.
