This summer, the Utah State University Online Master of Business Administration program will celebrate the graduation of its first graduating cohort.

Twenty-three students will complete their Master of Business Administration degree online during the summer of 2020. Many of these graduates have received jobs with reputable companies and organizations around the country, including Qualtrics, Northrop Grumman, Young Living, Utah State University, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the United States Army, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Campbell Scientific, L3 Communications, the Space Dynamics Lab and Health Equity.

“The Utah State Online MBA Program has been perfect for me and my needs,” said Bryson Ashcraft, an online MBA program graduate. “I love having the flexibility of online learning while not giving up quality of education. One thing I especially love about the Utah State MBA is how personal it all is - the expectation is not just to get good grades. The expectation is to apply what you learn and actually become something great. The program helped set me up to make a difference in my work, my community and my own home.”

The online MBA program at USU is 100% online and can be formatted to fit the needs of each student. Students are able to start any semester and have the option to choose between one- and two-year programs in order to accommodate their schedules and lifestyles. The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

“I couldn’t be more excited or proud of our first online MBA graduating class,” said Brad Winn, professional practice professor and director of the professional MBA program. “Initially, we wondered if there would be any interest in a new online program. The group of students proved not only that there was interest, but also that they could achieve high-quality learning in this interactive, digital environment. I have no doubt that this graduating class will bring distinction to their companies, communities, families and the Huntsman School of Business.”

Currently, there are over 100 students enrolled in the online MBA program. The deadline to apply for the upcoming fall 2020 semester is Wednesday, July 15.
