Speakers
Matt Bromiley
Matt has over 13 years experience in incident response, managed detection and response, threat intelligence, and security operations. He has worked in environments of all shapes and sizes, battling everything from state-nexus adversaries to opportunistic, one-time hackers. Matt is also a certified sans instructor, teaching classes in dfir and security leadership. In his free team, he’s a dad to three girls. Wait, that's not free time.
Kylynn Rees
Position (senior penetration tester & head of offensive security at Withum). Degree (Bachelors in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance). Certifications (ecppt, crto, ewpt, ceh, sscp, pentest+, cysa+, Sec+, net+, a+, project+, itilv4)
Breyden Summers
Breyden Summers is a Computer Science student at Utah State University with a self-made emphasis in Cybersecurity. He is passionate about creating and solving capture the flag (ctf) challenges. Breyden enjoys building out his home lab and expanding his bookshelf with books that he will hopefully one day read.
Wesley Marinho
A computer network security expert recognized as a senior member of ieee and over 10 years of experience, currently, a business security advisor at Nubank. I've worked for renowned organizations including C6 Bank, Heineken, INSS and Anvisa, in infrastructure, management, and information security sectors. I've managed technical teams of up to 20 professionals. Educated at estácio de sá, my expertise spans across various sectors of the economy. My primary role involves, using frameworks such as soc2, iso 27001/27002, pci, csa, and nist, integrating information security into business frameworks and aligning it with the company's growth strategies.
Ned Pfeiffer
Ned Pfeiffer is an associate security consultant at Netspi with a multidisciplinary background including cybersecurity, geopolitics, and psychology. A recent graduate from Utah State University, he contributed to federal research grants through USU’s Center for Anticipatory Iintelligence and supported critical infrastructure research at Pacific Northwest National Lab through an undergraduate internship.
Ryan Beebe
Ryan Beebe is a senior security consultant at Netspi, located in Lehi, UT. In his role, Ryan specializes in web and mobile application penetration testing. Having previously served as a technical lead for a key client, he is now a part of the instructional team at Netspi university. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering and a certificate in Cybersecurity from the University of LA Verne. He has also obtained the ejpt, ecppt, and bscp certifications.
Gabriel Shapiro
Gabriel Bernadett-Shapiro is a cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in threat intelligence and incident response. He is an adjunct professor at John's Hopkins and is passionate about leveraging AI for defensive applications.
Crystal Hammond
Crystal Hammond is a cybersecurity major with a biology minor at Southern Utah University and Interned at the Silicon Valley-based privileged access firm Delinea as the summer cybersecurity intern collaborating with security engineers worldwide. She has previously worked as a pharmacy technician and has been with the information technology help desk at SUU for over two years.
Sam Bowne
Sam Bowne has been teaching computer networking and security classes at City College San Francisco since 2000. He has given talks and hands-on trainings at def con, def con china, black hat Usa, hope, bsidessf, bsideslv, rsa, and many other conferences and colleges. He founded Infosec Decoded, Inc., And does corporate training and consulting for several fortune 100 companies, on topics including incident response and secure coding. Formal education: B.Sc.
