Wednesday, Oct. 7th 11:30-1:30 monthly TWS meeting in Reeves Wildlife Lab, we will talk about our upcoming Greater Sage Grouse, American Beaver, Black Bear events. We will come up with our baked goods for our Halloween Bake Sale on Wednesday, Oct. 28th. We will talk about upcoming events: Wednesday, Nov. 18th: USUE Wildlife Alumni-Student luncheon; Feb. 11th Valentines Bake Sale; Feb. 22nd : Utah American Fisheries Society Meeting (AFS) in Vernal and March 9-13 Utah The Wildlife Society TWS Meeting in Logan

This program combines daily hikes to stunning waterfalls, geothermal features, glaciers, and volcanic highlands with close observation of Iceland’s iconic horses, offering insight into their behavior, ecology, and cultural significance. Students will engage in field-based learning as they explore diverse habitats, studying native plants, identifying bird species, and examining how species thrive in this rugged environment. Off-the-beaten path exploring will include whale and seal watching, exploring with local research scientists, and driving past tourists traps and Instagram famous sites to hidden gems.
