Biography
Doug Miller is the co-founder of Camp CLIMB and CLIMB Ventures. A Utah State University alum, he holds an MBA from The University of Montana and a Ph.D. from Washington State University. In addition to being an award-winning educator, Doug is a sought after speaker on Creative Problem Solving, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Developing Leader Potential.
Doug is an active researcher and studies firm innovation and entrepreneurship, with particular attention placed on the efforts that a firm makes to protect its innovative practices. He also studies the psychological ownership of founders and the impact that psychological ownership has on equity distribution amongst the founding team. His work has been presented at a variety of national and international conferences. He has published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, and other leading outlets.
