Biography
Nathan Leishman received his accounting degree from Utah State University, after which he obtained his real estate license and sold real estate at Coldwell Banker. Nate then earned his MBA from the University of Texas with an emphasis in Finance, after which he completed his Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) at the University of Utah. He also earned a certificate in Urban Planning with the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, as well as his Principal Broker license.
Nate spent 14 years under the mentorship of Dell Loy Hansen at Wasatch Commercial. From asset management, to acquisition and disposition, to leasing and development, Nate’s commercial experience is second to none. He has deep transactional experience with every asset class, working with the finest professionals across the nation. Nate has executed over 1,500 transactions totaling approximately $1.5 billion and was instrumental in executive-level planning of a $4 billion portfolio.
As the founder of Pinnacle Real Estate Group, Nate syndicated 100+ acres of land acquisition in his first year and then entitled 1,000 multifamily units. Nate works at the Colmena Group, primarily focusing on multifamily development. He is actively developing over 3,000 multifamily units. He has extensive experience underwriting and investing in commercial real estate, with a particular passion for investing in value-added real estate. He finds joy in supporting others in their real estate journey. When he is not working, Nate loves to spend time with his wife and six children, enjoying various outdoor activities in Utah's beautiful mountains.
