    Biography

    Corinda Krebs is an adventurous attorney, professor, and mom. She loves teaching, persuasive writing, and critical thinking. At Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, she teaches business students to develop and apply effective oral and written business communication skills.

    Formerly, Krebs worked as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Fayette County, Kentucky, prosecuting both felony and misdemeanor cases. she handled hundreds of cases, gathering evidence, writing briefs and motions, attending hearings, negotiating plea bargains, litigating jury trials, and making sentencing recommendations. She also coordinated a multi-agency task force charged with effectively prosecuting gun crimes.

    During law school at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law, she served as a junior staff member and later as managing editor of the Journal of Law and Family Studies. As a staff member, she authored two pieces that were chosen for publication and also edited academic submissions for publication. As managing editor, she oversaw the junior staff member's writing efforts and coordinated their editorial work on academic submissions, ensuring a quality publication. Krebs discovered during this time how deeply she enjoyed research, writing, and editing.

    As an undergraduate at Brigham Young University, she studied anthropology, gaining an appreciation for the world's many cultures and an awareness that cultural customs and differences are critical to cooperation and success in intercultural Interactions.

    During her time away from the workplace, she donated legal services such as supporting immigrants and helping people navigate the criminal and family law systems. While living in Japan, she started an English language school for Japanese children. She also coached soccer, served with parent-teacher organizations volunteered in her church community and participated in interfaith and cultural community events.
