Biography
Elisa Hoffman is the Financial Officer for the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Huntsman School in 2004, she started her career with Intermountain Healthcare in the accounting department at Logan Regional Hospital. The accounting department was a great place to apply the principles learned from the School of Accountancy and she gained excellent experience in financial accounting, cash controls, and fixed asset accounting. Elisa was able to progress from an Accountant I for Logan Regional to the Accounting Supervisor for the Urban North Region, including Logan, Bear River, and McKay-Dee Hospitals. In 2014, she made the move to Utah State University. She spent time as a Business Manager in both the Ecology Center and Research and Graduate Studies before joining the Huntsman School of Business as the Financial Officer in January 2016. Elisa has truly enjoyed her return to the Huntsman School and appreciates all of the great people that she gets to interact with every day. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and 5 kids, reading, playing games (if she’s winning…) and playing ultimate Frisbee with her family.
