Biography

Dr. Cynthia Gibson's educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, M.B.A. in Management from Texas A&M University, and Doctorate in Education in Educational Administration with a Specialization in College Teaching (Business) from Oklahoma State University. Her industry experiences include management, marketing, consulting, and sales in private industry and higher education. She has served as fulltime business faculty at colleges and universities in Texas, Oklahoma, New York, Indiana, Canada and Washington and guest lectured at universities in China. She earned the rank of full Professor and tenure at a private university in Indiana. Dr. Gibson has developed new higher education curriculum at several U.S. and international universities, some of this done while living and working in Singapore. Dr. Gibson has been teaching Management classes and serving as the Utah State University liaison to regional Economic Development agencies since 2012. She has earned certification as an international trade expert and been designated a “Certified Global Business Professional” through the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE).
