Garrett Burt

Garrett Burt is an Adjunct Instructor for the Data Analytics and Information Systems department in the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He works full-time as a Sr. Data Scientist for CVS Health. Garrett earned his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Statistics with an emphasis in Applied Statistics and Analytics, and then earned his Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Wisconsin system in 2020. In his full-time job with CVS Health he leverages advanced Statistical and Machine Learning methods to extract insights, help drive behavior change, and inform data-driven decision making in a large corporate environment. Outside of work Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife and young kids, mountain biking, camping, watching sports, reading books, gardening and taking care of his backyard chickens.
