Kolene Anderson

Biography

Kolene joined the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) at USU in October of 2023, but she's enjoyed her involvement with the organization for many, many years. Prior to joining USU, she worked for Saprea, a nonprofit focused on the issue of child sexual abuse. Kolene gravitates to professional roles where she is making a difference in the lives of people, either through direct services or advocacy. She learned to love hearing people's stories and perspectives during the many years that she taught English classes at Utah Valley University. She has served in various leadership positions professionally and in the community. Kolene is a mother to six children, and she and her spouse, Robert, live in Draper.
