Biography

Steve Smith is the managing partner and one of the founders of WSRP, LLC, a regional CPA firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The firm celebrated its 30-year anniversary in January 2015. It has branch offices in Lehi, Utah and in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an assurance partner at WSRP and its predecessors, Steve has, in his 36-year career, served clients across multiple sectors including manufacturing, construction, real estate development, technology, private equity, professional services, and agriculture. He has derived particular satisfaction in being a trusted advisor to many entrepreneurs as they grow successful middle market companies. Steve has had responsibility for the development of WSRP’s technology infrastructure as it has grown from humble beginnings with 6 people in 1985 to the 75 talented professionals with whom he works each day. Steve and his wife, Elaine are proud parents of 5 boys and 13 grandchildren.
