Jennifer Smith is Head of Technology (CIO) and Operations and a member of the corporate executive committee at Zions Bancorporation, leading over 2400 colleagues and managing multi-hundred-million-dollar budgets. Her focus is on driving the move from legacy technology and operations practices to modern paradigms and on building a culture with people at the center.

 

Jennifer has been recognized by American Banker as one of the "25 Most Powerful Women in Banking". She has served on numerous boards, including the Board of Directors for YWCA Utah and the United Way of Salt Lake. She is a current member of the Advisory Council for the Data Analytics + Information Systems Department at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. She also serves on the board for the Children's Center of Utah, FTV Capital's Strategic Advisory Board, and the College of Social and Behavioral Science Advancement Board at the University of Utah, of which she serves as Chair.
