Biography

Melanie fulfilled the role of Director of Human Resources at the Utah State University Research Foundation/Space Dynamics Laboratory for 15 years. In 2011, she stepped away from the Director position to invest more of her time with her busy family. Since that time, she has been a part-time employee at Space Dynamics Laboratory and been busy with her HR consulting practice serving small businesses. She has been active in SHRM for over 20 years, holding a variety of volunteer positions. Her honors include membership in Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification, and a recipient of the Society for Human Resource Management President’s Award of Professional Excellence. She holds a Master of Business Administration and B.S. in Human Resource Management from Utah State University.
