Biography

R. Sara Dent Merrill is the Senior Manager of Member Growth at Thrive Market, an online-based healthy grocery delivery startup with the honorable goal of making healthy food affordable and attainable to all. She currently manages all of Thrive Market’s paid social advertising initiatives and drives the company’s creative advertising strategy. As a nine-figure advertising investment manager, she has had valuable experience scaling small initiatives into high-functioning and revenue-generating advertising disciplines. She has managed domestic and international paid media spend for variousbrands, large and small, across various media channels including: paid social, paid search, online video, display, connected TV, out of home, and influencer marketing networks.

She enjoys seeing her work drive member growth and make visible impacts on the health and wellness industry. She attributes her success thus far to taking initiative and proposing big ideas with passion.

Sara graduated magna cum laude from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business in Marketing and International Business in May, 2020. As the 2019-2020 Business Senator, she focused on empowering female business students to get out of their comfort zones and take advantage of educational opportunities. Sara enjoyed being a Huntsman Scholar, as well as a SEED intern in Trujillo, Peru.

Sara lives in Logan with her husband Kaden and loves to camp and hike in the beautiful Logan Canyon.
