Biography

David Jenkins founded Conservice in 2000 and he currently serves as its chairman after retiring in August 2020 as President and CEO. David is married to Lynette McCann and they have 3 wonderful daughters. David and Lynette reside in North Logan and St George Utah.

David was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young for the Utah Region in 2011. David also sits on the Huntsman School of Business Advisory Board at Utah State University.

Conservice has been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States for the past 13 years and is continuing with its consist annual growth of 20%. The company currently employs over 2,300 team members and is an important part of the Cache Valley landscape.  Conservice has grown into an international multi-billion dollar company and is the recognized leader in utility management for real estate managers and owners.

David’s previous work experience includes many years in property management, human resources, information technology, acquisitions, finance, and risk/liability management roles. David has worked in the utility management field for over twenty years and enjoyed working with a number of partners and Private Equity firms as part of reaching this success.

David is a strong believer that a business succeeds when it has a challenging but fun team environment. He believes in an individual’s ability to improve and accomplish things they may not have believed possible before.  He also pioneered the Conservice Cares program which allows team members to give 2 hours of paid service each month to help give back and improve life work balance.

He is an owner in 70+ privately held companies in a wide range of industries and is a serial entrepreneur by any definition. He is constantly looking for the next big opportunity. He loves the challenge and opportunities associated with all things business. Talking business is a favorite conversation topic with others, especially those trying to start a new idea.

David enjoys working with their family foundation and participates in a number of philanthropic causes and organizations locally.

Most of all, he really enjoys being a part of helping others succeed!
