Biography

As the leader of USURF’s HR function, Sharon serves as a confidential sounding board and advisor for USURF’s President, other leaders, and employees. As is true in other organizations, USURF’s HR team is responsible for a cadre of processes such as Affirmative Action/Equal Employment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, staffing, leadership & employee development, and succession planning. In addition, Safety, Security and Corporate Events report into Human Resources. Prior to joining USURF, Sharon was Director – Human Resources for ATK’s Aerospace Structures group supporting a geographically dispersed workforce during tremendous transformational change. Sharon’s initial assignment with ATK was leading the group’s Talent Management Center of Excellence. The first twenty years of Sharon’s career were spent at various Kimberly-Clark Corporation locations. A significant highlight during the Kimberly-Clark years was providing business mapping support internationally.
