Biography

Chris Bingham is a medical device executive with over 15 years of experience leading marketing, strategy, and M&A. He has worked across Fortune 100 healthcare companies including Medtronic and Abbott Labs, and recognized sector leaders, including Advanced Bionics, a Sonova Company. Chris was originally drawn to and remains engaged in healthcare as it offers a strong alignment between his personal drive to serve others and the ability to develop and introduce technology that benefits individuals who suffer from chronic health conditions. 

Working across global roles and expatriate assignments, Chris brings a broad understanding of healthcare delivery and customer/consumer needs. This experience has allowed Chris to deliver more than a billion dollars of launched product value that he has either led or directly supported. Chris has also led full strategy development across multiple businesses, creating topline and profit growth and delivering shareholder value. Chris currently serves as the Vice President of Global Marketing & Strategy for Advanced Bionics’ Cochlear Implant Business. In this position, Chris is responsible for global product strategy and marketing as well as sales and clinician (customer) training. Chris is also the co-owner of an Austin, TX-based haircare franchise (Bishops Cuts/Color).

Chris holds an MBA from the Huntsman School of Business and a degree in Biology from Utah State University. Chris, his wife Michelle (also a graduate of Utah State University) and their 7-year-old twin boys currently reside in St. George, Utah where they enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and golfing together.
