Minor in Personal Financial Planning
The Personal Financial Planning minor prepares students for careers in government securities, retirement planning, compensation investments, property ownership, and wealth management. The courses are registered with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)© Board of Standards. Students completing the entire series will qualify to sit for the comprehensive CFP© Examination.
Minor Requirements (18 Credits)
Starting Fall 2020 an overall GPA of 2.0 is required for enrollment in this business minor. A student from outside the Huntsman School who desires to pursue any business minor must recognize that there may be prerequisites needed for courses required in the minor. This minor requires a B- or better in all courses and an overall minor GPA of 2.5 for the minor to be awarded at graduation.
