Minor in Human Resources Management
The minor in human resource management develops students who understand human behavior in organizations and how people assets can be leveraged to create value for the individual and the organization. An HR minor enables students to work in virtually any industry, as all require this highly sought-after business specialty.
Minor Requirements (13-14 Credits)
Starting Fall 2020 an overall GPA of 2.0 is required for enrollment in this business minor. A student from outside the Huntsman School who desires to pursue any business minor must recognize that there may be prerequisites to required minor courses and that a GPA of 2.5 must be obtained in minor courses in order for the minor to be awarded at graduation.
The HR Management minor curriculum was updated (effective spring 2022). Students who have already declared an HR Management minor, should work with their advisor on the courses they should take to complete the minor requirements.
