Minor Track Options

Track 1: General Consulting for Business and Industry

Graduates with this minor and the appropriate technical training will be attractive candidates for employment in the world’s largest consulting firms like Accenture, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, etc. They will also be attractive candidates in technical consulting firms for engineering, agriculture, accounting, etc. There is a current unmet demand for qualified graduates in the consulting industry and for managers with consulting skills. This will create strong career paths for students in engineering, finance, accounting, and other disciplines.

Track 2: Small Business/Micro-enterprise Consulting

This track focuses on consulting small businesses, micro-ventures and social enterprises. The second track prepares graduates to work for Non-Governmental organizations, Not-for-Profits and Governmental organizations that focus on economically disenfranchised individuals wishing to launch a business. This track will have a larger emphasis on working with new start-up businesses, particularly in less developed countries through one-on-one coaching, teaching and advising.
