Q: Why did you choose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program?
A: I chose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources program because it came highly recommended from three of my friends from undergrad that went through this program and have seen a lot of success due to it. I just knew I could not go wrong with going through this program and that I would be successful after completing my time there.

Q: What was your favorite part of the Huntsman School MHR Program?
A: I loved the program as a whole, but I think one of things I enjoyed the most was really getting know my fellow classmates and professors! I honestly have made friends for life because of this program! Not to mention I was prepared for the corporate world and ahead of my fellow coworkers in many ways due to the rigor of the program.

Q: What advice would you give current MHR students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in HR?
A: This is the time to explore your passion of HR! Take risks, stretch yourself, discover what your brand is, and let your presence be known. By doing this, the right company will find you and you will be able to add value in ways you could not even begin to think you could before!

Q: What are your 2-3 main job duties?
A: I am responsible for:

Analyzing all talent data (talent identification, succession planning, core skills, training, LDPS, etc.)

Create dashboards a database with the HR analytics and Workday teams to create accurate and updated reports

Train each of the product companies within Baker Hughes how to manage, understand, and effectively utilize their talent data.
