Biography
Q. Why did you choose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program?
R. I chose the MHR program at Utah State because of its reputation and the positive culture I had heard about from countless friends who completed the program. The MHR program develops students who celebrate others’ successes. It takes students and prepares them to be great employees and great people.
Q. What was your favorite part of the Huntsman School MHR Program?
R. One of the things I love most about the MHR program is the way it brings people together and makes them better. Better students, better professionals, and most importantly better people. I'm grateful for a program that values people and takes the time to help students cultivate relationships that will carry on long after the program has ended.
Q. What advice would you give current MHR students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in HR?
R. One thing that has always stood out to me about the Huntsman School of Business is the motto "Dare Mighty Things". I would encourage students and recent graduates to live that motto and dare mighty things. Seek out challenging assignments and find opportunities to stretch beyond your comfort zone. The most challenging assignments help you develop and grow in extraordinary ways.
