Biography

Hunter grew up in Logan, UT and did his undergrad in Economics at USU before joining the MHR program. His family includes his wife Sadie and their daughter Magnolia, who was born while in the MHR program. Hunter enjoys board games when inside, and hiking and camping while outside. After interning with Honeywell during the summer of 2022, Hunter joined Honeywell full time in January 2023.

Q. Why did you choose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program?
R. I knew a few MHR students while I was an undergrad and the amazing experiences they were having with really great companies really interested me.

Q. What was your favorite part of the Huntsman School MHR Program?
R. The network that the MHR program has built has to be one of the most valuable resources it has to offer. The relationships I gained with my cohort, as well as with other alumni while I was a student will strengthen my career for years to come.

Q. What advice would you give current MHR students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in HR?
R. Expect things to be hard, but meet those challenges head on, with all of the uniqueness that you have to offer, and you'll be successful.

Q. What are your 2-3 main job duties?
R. I am on the team that supports the corporate finance team. (CFO and his direct reports and their teams)
