Biography
Juan us an HR professional building his knowledge within the exciting industry of human resources. His passion for HR roots from his family values of improving their lives through hard work, goal setting and determination.
These values have helped him learn life lessons to know and understand that others just as himself, can learn and recognize their own potential.
Q. Why did you choose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program?
A. At first I chose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resource Program because of the reputation that it carried and the many benefits that it proclaimed. What solidified this was seeing my own close friends experience the fruit of their labors as they themselves went through the program.
Q. What was your favorite part of the Huntsman School MHR Program?
A. Ultimately, my favorite part was the relationships that I was able to build. I have never known a group of individuals so willing to help, genuine and professors who are sincerely invested in the growth of their students. This program not only builds their students professionally, but personally as well.
Q. What advice would you give current MHR students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in HR?
A. Be intentional in all that you do. In todays virtual age, it is of most importance to be intentional about building relationships with your colleagues. To be intentional about your career choices and decisions that you make.
Q. What are your 2-3 main job duties?
A. I am currently supporting the HR Planning team at UPS where we help support the organization through high level projects such as: budget audits and data analysis.
