Biography
Cassidy is an HR Analyst in Verizon's Leadership Development Program, a two-year program designed to provide an immersive experience in HR at Verizon and build leadership skills. She graduated from Utah State with an undergraduate degree in Sociology in 2020. After the completion of her undergrad, Cassidy was a student in the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program and Master of Business Administration Program, graduating in 2022. Before accepting her full-time role at Verizon, Cassidy interned with Sealed Air Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina as an HR Generalist.
Q. Why did you choose the Huntsman School Master of Human Resources Program?
R. I chose the Huntsman School MHR Program because it has a great curriculum with real-life projects that equip students with the skills necessary to excel as HR professionals. Additionally, throughout my undergrad at Utah State, I heard raving reviews and impressive statistics about the program, such as its internship and full-time job placement rates.

R. I am currently in my first rotation in Verizon's HR Leadership Development Program on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. In my role, I support Employee Resource Group (ERG) operations and DEI special projects and events
