WHY ECONOMICS?

Businesses today need people who are trained as thinkers and communicators. The mission of economic programs is to advance the understanding of the economic process and its relationship to social, political, and cultural institutions. The economics program places an emphasis on learning, critical thinking, and the development of the whole individual within the context of a rapidly changing world.
