Biography
Dr. Matthew D. Meng is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Originally from Australia, he received his B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Melbourne, his M.Bus. in Marketing from RMIT University, and his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
His previous experience working with charities and NGOs steered his research interests towards addressing consumer and societal issues in the areas of sustainability, excessive consumption, identity, and public policy. He has been published in top journals such as Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, and has had his findings highlighted in media outlets such as The Washington Post and CNN.
