Biography

Shara Gibbons has been with the Huntsman School of Business since fall 2006. During her time with the Huntsman School she has had multiple positions, her current position is director of enrollment and analytics. In this position she oversees undergraduate enrollment and recruiting efforts. As well as oversees the Huntsman School's Data Science Team including Salesforce Org, data Integrations and data analysis requests.

Her most recent previous position was Webmaster and Marketing Automation Specialist. In this position she managed the Huntsman website, email marketing and process automation. Shara and her team undertook a comprehensive redesign of the Huntsman Website in 2021 to 2022, the end result is a robust and up-to-date web presence with clear and informative content.

Shara excels in project management, seeing the big picture, attention to detail, and executing multiple tasks/projects at the same time. She has a knack for seeing how incorporating automations/workflows can improve processes, accuracy and response time. She has implemented a number of systems/platforms within the Huntsman School and even at the University level. She was an key part of the implementation of Appointment Manager at the University level. She served as the USU primary contact for Appointment Manager from the initial USU level build out until the end of 2021.

Shara graduated from the Huntsman School of Business in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Information Systems.

She lives in Lewiston with her husband and three children on a third-generation dairy farm owned by her husband and two business partners.
