Biography
Todd Poulsen, Senior Director of Ticket Sales and Service for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League, will be speaking on campus April 3 at 3 p.m. In BUS 215. His topic will be "Sports Management in the NFL".
Todd is a marketing graduate of Utah State University. He is responsible for ticket sales and services, premium product sales and services, ticket operations and the day-to-day supervision of the Chargers ticket office.
He joined the Chargers in 2003 after spending six years with the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, including three as director of sales. During his tenure, the Clippers were fifth in the NBA in new season ticket sales and set franchise records for overall group sales revenue, attendance and sellouts.
From 1994-98, Poulsen was an account executive for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He led the department in season ticket sales and overall revenue.
Todd was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has a master's degree in management from the University of Redlands. He and his wife, Marilyn, have two daughters, Morgan and Madeline, and live in San Diego.
