Biography

Kathy’s consulting services reflect her belief that no one process or approach fits all problems. Mediation is an effective and collaborative method of resolving conflict. With over 12 years of experience and training, Kathy assesses a problem with the parties involved and offers a unique process and strategy for addressing their unique problems. She leaves the parties with skills and learning to address any future conflicts.

Trained in all types of mediation, facilitation, group conferencing, conflict coaching, talking circles, and communication skills, she has consulted with programs and trained on dispute resolution processes across the country.

She mediated for the Utah State Court system for over 20 years and served as the Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs for seven years. As Director, she created and implemented mediation programs throughout the Utah State Court System. She currently serves as the Chair of the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution, was named as the Peacekeeper of the year in 2006 and was named Community Builder of the Year award in 2002.
