Biography

Jason Deelstra was born and raised in Layton, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University from 2004-2008, graduating in with a degree in Advertising. While at BYU, he worked on a couple of projects with amazing companies like Nike and the Utah Jazz. This led to a job with the Jazz in 2008 with their Advertising Agency, LHM Advertising, now known as Saxton Horne. In 2009, he was recruited away from LHM by APX Alarm, now known as Vivint. At Vivint, he was been tasked with many roles within the marketing department that led him to become the Director of Marketing at Vivint Solar in 2012. Vivint has been an amazing ride for Jason. Being able to be a key piece in a complete company rebrand, starting a company from the ground floor, to becoming what is today known as Vivint Solar have definitely been the highlights of his career.

He has a wonderful wife, Shaylee, and four amazing children; Brooklyn 8, Reagan 6, Jane 4, and Briggs 2. There is nothing better than spending time with them. Vivint has been amazing in letting them be a part of it all.
