Duane Bernards

Duane Bernards grew up in the electrical industry and has spent 35 years molding and leading
business professionals. He started working for CED (Consolidated Electrical Distributors) as a
high school student in the warehouse and worked his way into management. Duane never shies
away from hard work. He earned his Technical Sales degree at Weber State while working 40
hours a week, attending his classes, and balancing family demands. After graduating with his
bachelor’s degree, Duane was promoted to Profit Center Manager and managed 7 different
branches across the state of Utah at different times. He was often given the assignment of turning
under-performing branches into profitable companies – his average turn around time is 2 years.
For the last 5 years, Duane has worked as the Utah & Southern Idaho Division Manager,
managing 22 branches across 3 states. His role today includes mentoring Branch Managers on
best business practices, employee empowerment, and recruiting new talent into the industry.
In 2022, Duane was given the Utah State ProSales Founders award for his dedication to the
university and students pursuing sales roles. Duane often says his proudest moments are seeing
students and young business professionals succeed.
Duane currently resides in Utah County with his wife, Liesl, where they enjoy spending time
with their 4 kids & 3 grandkids. His favorite past times include ATV-ing on the trails by his
house, traveling with Liesl, and college football season

Russ Clark

Russ Clark is an enablement professional who has worked at companies like Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Intel, Symantec, Novell, and recently Ivanti (formerly Landesk). He started as an instructional designer, defining curricula in emerging tech for consultants, then worked at Novell as a lead instructional designer for 100K+ Novell technical certifications worldwide in 12 languages, pivoted to Product Marketing with cybersecurity leader Symantec delivering global product launches, and then transitioned to channel and sales enablement with Landesk and then Ivanti.
Skilled in enabling customer-facing roles, he helped facilitate sellers learning new solutions while the company acquired over 15 companies in a 10 year period. Lastly, he architected enablement from scratch in 1 qtr for a supply chain software division that supplies handheld software for the the largest distribution companies around the world contributing to a 7% increase in CAGR. All his work experience has contributed to the award-winning enablement professional he is today.

He then moved into the Neuromodulation space, working 5 years with Nevro – selling a spinal cord stimulation device for the treatment of chronic pain. He currently works for Inspire Medical Systems – a medical device for patients with sleep apnea. Cache and Megan live in Idaho Falls with their 3 children.

Jason attended USU where he was involved with ASUSU as the Student Advocate. He intended to be a high school teacher upon graduating but was given the opportunity to start a Japan division at a startup company called 4Life Research. Jason also had the opportunity to oversee the Korea, Australia/New Zealand, and India divisions.
After earning an MBA at BYU, Jason joined two fellow Aggies to build Thrive Life. The business began as a company focused on emergency preparedness food and has evolved into the largest freeze-dried food manufacturer in the world, supplying many of the largest global food companies and employing over 2,500 people in offices across 9 different countries.
Jason’s business passions are in the areas of Sales, Marketing, International, Strategy, and Organizational Development. His personal passion is his family. After serving as a missionary in Tokyo, Japan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he met his wife Kim at USU. Dan Watkins

He also moonlights as the color analyst for Utah State University football games for Learfield, Utah State University's Athletic Property organization.

When not working, he can be found serving as an ecclesiastical leader of his church and, as often as possible, on the golf course. And, even at times on the river fishing with his wife Tessa.
